Invitation to the 19th ITS POLAND CONGRESS

Intelligent mobility in practice – innovation, safety and resilience

Dear Sir / Madam,

Intelligent Transport Systems are entering a new stage of development. Artificial intelligence, increasingly accessible transport data and connected infrastructure are creating opportunities for more effective traffic management and safer, more accessible mobility. At the same time, growing cybersecurity risks, the need for resilient transport networks and pressure to deliver measurable results are bringing practical implementation and responsible investment to the forefront.

The ITS POLSKA Association continues to foster cooperation among public authorities, researchers and industry, while maintaining its links with ITS Nationals and ERTICO. International exchange and the experience gained from deployments in Poland and abroad help translate technological advances into solutions that serve transport users and local communities.

Starting with the first edition, the ITS POLAND CONGRESS has brought together the Polish ITS community as a forum for exchanging knowledge, presenting solutions and developing partnerships. The 19th Congress will focus on the transition from promising technologies to interoperable, secure and effective transport systems.

The programme of the 19th ITS POLAND CONGRESS will address eight key areas:

• Traffic Management
• Artificial Intelligence and the Use of Big Data
• Support for Multimodal Transport Systems and Sustainable Mobility
• Innovative ITS Devices and Solutions
• Modern Systems for Improving Road Traffic Safety
• Weight in Motion Systems
• Autonomous Vehicles and Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Communication Systems
• Safety, Resilience and Cyber-Physical Security of Systems
• Policy, Governance and Financing of Future Intelligent Mobility

The programme will also provide space for smart city initiatives, practical deployment experience and projects developed within SmartCity Lab. Particular attention will be paid to cooperation across institutions and to scaling solutions that have demonstrated their value.

By bringing together decision-makers, road and transport authorities, technology providers, academia and local governments, ITS POLSKA supports the exchange of practical experience and the development of lasting partnerships. The Congress offers an opportunity to discuss investment priorities, present innovative solutions and identify common responses to the challenges facing modern mobility.

We cordially invite you to the 19th ITS POLAND CONGRESS, taking place on 24–25 May 2027 at the Mercure Warszawa Centrum in Warsaw. We look forward to two days of dialogue, inspiration and cooperation for the future of intelligent transport.
