The application of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) has become of a great importance in Poland. The 20 billion Euro Operational Program “Infrastructure and Environment for the years 2007-2013” provisions for a number of ITS projects in land, marine and air transportation. This creates great opportunities for ITS consulting, operation, manufacture and technology supply industries on the Polish emerging market.
ITS Polska Association was trusted the mission to bring together domestic and international ITS leaders, policy makers, academics and industry professionals to create grounds for networking, knowledge exchange, and most importantly bridging between public and private entities. For this reason the Association will launch ITS POLISH CONGRESS. It is expected that the event will ultimately become the biggest ITS meeting in Poland.
