Michael Gschnitzer, Kapsch
Michael Gschnitzer graduated as an Electrical Engineer at the Technical University of Vienna in 1991. Within his diploma thesis he worked on an innovative laser-tracking system improving trajectories of industrial robots.
After moving to Kapsch he was employed as technical coordinator, project-manager and account-manager on numerous projects in the fields of Public Transportation, Intelligent Solutions for Road Operators and Electronic Fee Collection.
With a relevant experience of more than 25 years he is today in the position of Vice President for International Sales in the Kapsch TrafficCom Group.

Involved in ICT industry for more than 20 years. At Sprint SA he is responsible for contacts with key customers and ITS development at Sprint S.A. He has participated in many actions, starting from acquiring projects and ending up with support during implementation. Author of expert opinions on the traffic management and construction of complex telematics systems in cities and on roads in the countryside. Member of the Warsaw University of Technology’s experts’ platform, is an active member of many organizations: the Association of Communications Engineers and Technicians of the Republic of Poland, a member of the Traffic Control Section of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a member of the Polish ITS Technology Platform.
